Do you feel you did enough this year? How much is enough? Can you list and celebrate all of your accomplishments? Do you associate your self-worth with your accomplishments? Can you stop wanting and doing more and instead learn to receive?
I listened to a great discussion about "being enough" with the dear dr. Gabor Mate and dr. Dan Siegel. If you haven't got a copy of "The Myth of Normal" yet, I recommend opening those pages.
In the greatness of ego, id, and superego dissonance, even the question, "am I enough" is proven pointless. On a fundamental level, none of us is enough compared to the vastness, wonders, and fragmentations of this universe. We are living in a human dread with many limitations. You might be familiar with this saying; "treat everyone with kindness, like they are God in dread ." Only the ego mind wants to thrive and compete, overachieve, under or overdeliver. Dr. Gabor Mate and Dr. Siegel are a man with incredible achievements on a social level, and to this day, the achievements might not feel enough to them. So where does this madness lead at the end of the retrospective December 2022?
"AM I ENOUGH? HAVE A I DONE ENOUGH?"
WHO EVEN THINKS TO ASK THAT QUESTION?
So here are the affirmations instead: I'm enough; I've done enough this year! And I'm so proud of all that I have done!
We did enough; we survived enough; we accomplished a lot; we loved enough; we danced with our light and shadows enough.
The spire model is the invention of Tal Ben-Shahar, a Harvard lecturer of positive psychology and a HAPPINESS researcher; the model is intended to trigger the anti-fragile system of post-traumatic growth. We all talk about post-traumatic stress, as we all are affected by it. The opposite of PTSD is Post Traumatic Growth PTSG. Positive personal changes result from the survivor's struggle to deal with trauma and its psychological consequences. And here is the formula for PTSG
SPIRE is an acronine of:
Spirituality-purpose connection to faith and higher realms
Physical-movement (yoga; )))
Intellectual- curiosity and endless learning, ask questions, engage with the World.
Relational-quality time we spend with ppl we like and who care for us in reciprocity
Emotional well-being ā is deeply connected to Gratitude.

"Gratitude is the greatest of virtues and the parent of all the others," and therefore, Happiness is wholeness.
So much Love!
