Q&A for the Soul
Midwife of the Heart
♥️

Do you hold some unforgiveness in your heart? Can you forgive easily? What are you holding onto? Can you forgive yourself? Can you pray for your enemies?
OMG
God's master key is forgiveness.
The Bible never tells you to walk along with a toxic relationship, workplace, college, sibling, friend or parent. Forgiveness does not mean the occasion, the interaction didn't hurt, that there wasn't injustice in place, but forgiveness means that you turn it over to God to fix it. Some days it is hard to look that hurt in the face, but on those days you are called to give it to God and let him fix that personality, that glitch. Now you need to walk with the Lord and towards his Kingdom one step at a time. One prayer at a time.
Why is it dangerous to hold onto unforgiveness?
Because we leave a spiritual backdoor open for evil spirits to enter in and to have the legal right to torment our lives, to screw things up.
You have been forgiven already, did you know that? You have no right to hold onto the poison of unforgiveness, and you know why? Because God wants to bless you real good, and you are blocking the way.
Instead of shortcuts, say to the Lord "I want to forgive, but I can not right now, please help me to Forgive!"
Don't go to sleep tonight without forgiving, or asking God to help you to forgive that situationship! Rest in knowing that He is God and He has your back!
When we forgive others we reflect the heart of God. You might apply "an eye for an eye" as a good strategy, but how far could revenge go?
Mercy isn't just a feeling it is an action word.
Matthew 5:7
"Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy, Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God"
I mean Blessed, hello!! I'll take it, thank you very much!
As you walk today and go through your day think about how you can show mercy and ask God to purify your heart.
Psalm 51
5 Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
6 Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; you taught me wisdom in that secret place.
7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.8 Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice.9 Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity.
10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.11 Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Until next time stay Blessed and pray and contemplate on Love
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
Corinthians 13:4
