Where is your promise land? What is your promise land? Did you cross over there yet?
Grace: approval or kindness, especially that is freely given by God to all:
divine grace, Betty believed that it was through divine grace that her husband had recovered from his illness.
Hope: to want something to happen or to be true, and usually have a good reason to think that it might:
She's hoping (that) she won't be away too long.
Promise land: in the Bible, the land of Canaan, promised by God to Abraham and his race: a happy place or condition that someone wants to reach: a place where dreams or hopes can come true
OMG
Faith is believing in the unseen when the desired object is not even in the picture. When you just know, that you know, you stand on believing despite the circumstances. Believing in your marriage restoration when you are heading for a divorce; your stubborn illness to heal when you get your results got worse; your child to come to their right mind, when they slip down into depression or addiction, that business deal to fall through when you are broke, never not driven by your feelings not by sight, rather by faith. That's the long enduring journey from the little place to the big one.
And if you want to fight this alone, good luck with that, you need supernatural backup and the favour of God.
Do you remember when you were a mere thought in your parent's mind, and when you were a little embryo?
Look at you now! Who would have thought you would become so big and bright and beautiful!
Now, with absolute respect to all mothers, if my chances of making it to the finish line at the birth canal were merely based on my mother's hormonal and emotional rollercoasters, we would be nowhere near where we stand now.
Not by feelings but by faith we navigate and succeed.
Hebrews 11:11
1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for.
3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
8 By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. 9 By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. 11 And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise. 12 And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.
Feelings are the worst enemy and advisor. Believing, now that is something more eloquent, requires warfare, holding onto something you don't see, actually, you feel the exact opposite most of the time. But you've got to keep believing it is going to come through! And it will!
When God grows you it doesn't take him long. Never despise the days of small beginnings.
Sometimes a storm you are sitting in is not really a storm but a door to a breakthrough.
Passover begins!
The overarching theme of Passover is redemption. After all, this is the holiday that celebrates God’s intervention in history to lead the Israelites from slavery to freedom. It is a time to celebrate God as the great liberator of humanity. The divine redemption of the Israelites thus becomes the blueprint for the Jewish understanding of God and divine morality and ethics.
Scripture for Passover
Revelations2:22
Eden Restored
22 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign forever and ever.
Until next time stay Blessed and pray and contemplate on Love
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
Corinthians 13:4
